Circuitry > Longleaf Controller

This is a circuit I designed/built to control the lighting elements of a sculpture, Longleaf, I made.

The circuit is a 3" diameter wafer of 8 WS2811 LED driver chips. Each chip can control 3 LEDs. These chips are typically used to drive RGB LED strips, but I am using each channel to drive a single LED instead. Each board can control 24 LEDs, but they can be mounted and daisy-chained together to allow for as many connections as you can power.

You need a microcontroller, such as an Arduino Uno, to control each board.
