This iteration in the Negative Pressure Series utilized several methods of control for the sculpture, including generative algorithms, motion tracking with Kinect cameras, and data interpretation from wind sensors.

The piece premiered in 2020, weeks before the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic occurred. The initial idea had been to have the fabric elements react to people walking underneath it; however, with the safety concern, I changed this plan to have the sculpture record and playback movement from one person to the next instead.

This allowed people to still interact with each other over time instead of at the same time.
